Come to Stratford early and stay late! Construction delays may be significant in summer 2019 so be sure not to miss out on any fun!

Hwy 6 to Embro/401: Replacement of large culvert Aug-Nov

Expect delays but road will not be closed. Hwy 7 detour is suggested as above, if there is an overlap.

Hwy 8 between Stratford and Shakespeare: In progress

Beginning in early June, stretches of this road between the west end of Shakespeare and the east end of Stratford will be reduced on weekdays to a single lane, with flag people controlling traffic in both directions. Delays may be lengthy, so please allow additional time for your trip. (Both lanes are expected to be open on evenings and weekends.)

May 9th Forage and Feast Event

Our first Forage & Feast Event of 2020 will feature Wild Leeks, trout lilies, fiddleheads, nettles and more. After a morning of foraging along beautiful woodland fields and forests we return to the charm of Stratford Tea Leaves for a four course lunch beginning with baguettes from The Downie Street Bakehouse alongside Wild Nettle Gouda from Mountain Oak Cheese. Our soup du jour features delicious Wild Leek Soup followed by our main course, a combination of fresh Rainbow Trout with roasted Fiddleheads and marinated red potatoes. All of this rounded out by tasty apple pies from The Black Angus Bakery. Locally brewed craft beer and wines from Niagara are also included.

Puck's Plenty Forage and Feast Events have been rated as one of the top foraging adventures in the world by Marriott International  and Travel and Leisure Magazine.
