Colour Theory and Mixing with Julie Ponesse

Why are certain colour combinations so striking? How do I make the colours in my paintings ‘pop’? How do I avoid colours that look flat, washed out, or even unrealistic? This 2-day workshop will use a combination of presentation, demonstration and hands-on exercises to explore: saturation, hues, complements, contrast (Did you know there are 7 different kinds?), colour relativity, and the power of the warm/cool partnership.  (Bring a lunch as we will take a break for 30 minutes)
