Open Kitchen | Trade Secrets: Master Class | Bacon

Bacon can easily be described as a staple in Canadian kitchens. This class, with instructor, Eli Silverthorne, is for people serious about their bacon. See all the different stages of bacon making in one day!  Examine the principles behind curing and smoking pork belly transforming it to bacon. Try your hand at cooking techniques that will ensure your bacon doesn’t end up too chewy or too crispy, building an incredible BLT (bacon, lettuce & tomato) sandwich to enjoy at the end of class. Finally, bring home the bacon! All participants will have the opportunity to take home 1lb of finished bacon from class.





Cost: $80/Per person + a service fee
