Denise Nonomura: Portraits of a Pandemic Exhibit

“Portraits of a Pandemic” is a collection of drawings the artist completed in the spring of 2020. Through these portraits she represents the humanity of those around us as we adjusted our everyday lives during lockdown. The subjects chosen for each drawing were based on her observations around her community, stories shared with me by others, and current events that were having a profound impact on us all. Nonomura hopes that the viewer can perhaps relate their personal experience to the faces or scenes rendered in my Portraits of a Pandemic collection as it documents some of the ways that we coped to get through to our new normal together. Denise Nonomura's vision for the collection is to validate that none of us are alone in this current struggle affecting all humankind.

This event is wheelchair accessible.
