Ghosts of Stratford Theatrical Walking Tours
True tales of Stratford’s haunted past as researched by Wm. Miller, Esq.

SUMMER TOURS
Selected Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. in July and August

GOD’S ACRE Tour:
For nearly 150 years, Euphemia and Edward Elphinstone have enjoyed their evening strolls around Stratford. Accompanied by Edward’s lovely music on Romantic guitar, Effie is always happy to share stories from her beautiful city’s dark and haunted past - including the tale of Stratford’s own Jack the Ripper!

Pubs, Pilsners and SPIRITS TOUR
Selected Thursday evenings in September and October
When the autumn wind is rising and the air is wild with leaves, join us for a tour of Stratford’s historic taverns and hostelries. Along the way, you’ll learn about the tumultuous brewing history of Perth County and hear stories of spirits (of the non-alcoholic variety!) that continue to haunt our beautiful city even today.
Ticket price includes a half-pint of the landlord’s finest at each of three landmark pubs.
Meet your costumed guide at Stratford Tourism, 47 Downie Street, 10 min. prior to tour start time.

HALLOWEEN TOUR
Selected evenings at the end of October.
When the dark comes early and the nights are long, join us for this special edition of the Ghosts of Stratford. As darkness falls, costumed guides will appear to lead you on a candlelit tour through Stratford's ghostly and ghastly past. Stories, music, jokes, riddles and macabre vignettes will haunt your dreams.

Private Ghost Tours
In addition to our regular schedules & routes private Ghost Tours are available for your group throughout the year with discounts for groups of 20 or more. Contact us for more information ghostsofstratford@gmail.com

A portion of the proceeds supports the projects of the registered Canadian charityPlaymakers! Theatre School, www.play.makers.ca.

“Stratford itself is the type of walkable wholesome town Rodgers and Hammerstein might write a musical about.”
